Rafael Nadal Versus Robin Soderling
Jul 31st
In this weekend’s French open final two of the top ten seeds are going head to head but who will win it and who deserves it more? Rafael Nadal of Spain already has 4 French open titles in the bag and will be aiming to make it 5th whereas Robin Soderling is aiming for his first French open after reaching the final last year and losing. So who is more likely to win this event and then go on cruises trip after wining the title?
The Swede has had a fantastic tournament beating Roger Federer in just 4 sets in the quarter finals. He was beaten by the Swiss in last year’s final. It was Roger’s first French open title in trying after many years. This was a terrible moment for the loser Soderling but a great moment for Federer but the Swede has bounced back this year by beating Federer in the quarters and also reaching the final for the second time in two years. Whether he will win it or not we all will know this Sunday but the odds are all against him because he is playing Nadal. But in sport anything is possible that is the beauty of the game.
Many have said that Rafael Nadal hasn’t played his best tennis for last months yet he stll has 2 ATP titles and he is in French Open final, I don’t know who they are watching. Not sure what they are looking at but to me he seems fit, strong and play some great tennis. Also he showed in the semi finals why he is world number two. He was outstanding to watch against Almagro. I just hope Soderling lives up to the final and gives us a fantastic match because we all know Nadal is always going to give us something to cheer about.
If Soderling does manage to come up with the victory it will definitely be one of the greatest achievement of his life and then I think he wil deserve to go on MSC cruises or Windstar cruises trip to the Caribbean may be to rest before another big one in London. He still deserves it even if he doesn’t win. Getting to final in itself is a fantastic achievement.
